T 2 / TE 2 Thermal Expansion Valve
The T2/TE2 thermal expansion valve is suitable for refrigeration and air conditioning systems using Freon refrigerants. Its function is to throttle the liquid refrigerant entering the evaporator. The applicable refrigerants include R22, R134a, R404A/R507, R407C, R407F, R407A, R448A, R449A, R452A, R513A, R454C, R455A and R1234yf.
The T2/TE2 valve is a split valve, featuring a separate temperature sensing element/valve body and valve core. This valve is of the angle type: it has threaded x threaded or threaded x welded interfaces, and offers two options for internal and external balance.
